The Energy Club at the Fuqua School of Business is a student-run, professional club that brings together students interested in all sectors of the energy industry including oil & gas, utilities, and renewable energy.
It is our opinion that there has never been a more exciting time in the field of energy as there is right now. The future holds a number of formidable challenges as it relates to the world’s supply and demand of energy, and it will be today’s business students who become tomorrow’s business leaders that will have the greatest impact on the future of the world and its economies in dealing with these issues.
The Energy Club at Fuqua has grown tremendously over the last few years, and the richness and diversity of the academic programs at Duke truly provide some unique opportunities in the field of energy that are not available at most top business schools. Working in conjunction with highly esteemed programs at Duke such as the Nicholas School of the Environment, the Terry Sanford Institute of Public Policy, and the Pratt School of Engineering, we have access to several thoughts leaders and newly developed curriculum that span many different aspects of the energy industry.
