Chris Withers, Wachovia Securities

• Mr. Withers joined Wachovia Securities in 2003 and is a member of the firm’s Consumer & Retail Investment Banking team.  Previously, Mr. Withers was with Merrill Lynch & Co. Inc. in New York from 2002 through 2003.  His experience includes M&A buyside and sellside transactions and fairness opinions, as well as a range of capital raising transactions, including initial public offerings, follow-on public equity offerings, and convertible, high yield bond, leveraged loan and investment grade debt offerings.  Mr. Withers earned a bachelor of arts degree with honors from Randolph-Macon College and a master of business administration degree from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University (graduate of the class of 2002).
