WHAT: This event will provide prospective LGBT students an inside look into the academic and student life at Duke. Activities include class visits, admissions interviews, faculty presentations, networking events, and more. Prospective LGBT students, their partners, and prospective students who shares the goals of the conference, are welcome to attend.
There will be panel discussions on career issues as well as LGBT issues in the workplace. Current Duke & Fuqua students, alumni, and prospective students will participate in these panel discussions. What's New at Fuqua Pride, Fuqua's LGBT & Straight Alliance?
Fall 2007:
It is again a time for the leadership team transition in Fuqua Pride. Congratulations to Fuqua Pride for a very impressive and progressive year thanks to the joint effort of our leadership team and everyone involved to make it happen. We are fully confident for an even more accomplished year ahead with our new leadership team and club members coming!
Fuqua Pride (the formerly Fuqua GLSA) is an inclusive organization promoting the education, visibility, and networking of gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender business leaders at Fuqua. We fully embrace diversity and are proud to both reflect and represent the greater Fuqua and Duke communities. Our members are male and female, young and old, student and administrator, marketer and financier, gay and straight, bisexual and transgender, out and not. We are different every year and look forward to incorporating your ideas and enthusiasm into upcoming activities.
