The JD/MBA Club serves two purposes:

First, the club programs focus around the interest of current JD/MBAs. Events, include speeches by past JD/MBA's that can share their insights into the current educational and workplace environment for JD/MBA's.

The Club also focuses on providing an introduction to the variety of legal issues that affects the careers of business students. Events include speeches about obtaining venture capital funding and functions that bring the Law School and Business School together.

 Our mission:

Educating current JD/MBA students about how to leverage the two degrees.

Increasing MBA students awareness of legal realities.

Sparking debate among Fuqua students about how the law affects them.

 During the year, the JD/MBA Club will hold a number of events:

JD/MBA Fuqua Friday: Bringing Fuqua and the Law School together on a Friday evening.

Business Law Symposium: Bringing speakers to the Campus to educate Business Students about the legal realities of the business world.

Employment Law Seminar: Educating students on issues that arise when signing an employment contract.
