Our Mission

The mission of The Fuqua MBA Association (MBAA) is to represent the interests, needs, and concerns of daytime MBA students and student organizations across the spectrum of Duke University activities. As a part of that mission, the MBAA works to enrich the student experience through leadership development programs, activities that support and enhance our "Team Fuqua" culture, and activities that strengthen The Duke MBA brand. The MBAA is also deeply committed to strengthening the Fuqua community. This involves reaching out to our active alumni network, to our friends and supporters in Durham, and to the diverse business community in the Triangle area.

With over 50 active student clubs, the MBAA provides a strategic direction for student leadership and activities. The organization empowers members of the Daytime MBA program through our close ties to the faculty, the administration, and Fuqua's Board of Visitors. Fuqua's MBAA is unique among its business school peers in the autonomy afforded this student-run organization as well as the tremendous input that the MBAA provides to the staff and administration. In an effort to more effectively capture and communicate its mission, the MBA Association drafted its first Constitution. In the Spring of 2006, the Fuqua Daytime Student Body voted in support of the principles embodied within the Constitution.
