Overview
“Understanding responsibility from a managerial perspective is not about a lone ethics course, nor is it only for your classmates that plan to work in the social sector. As future Presidents and CEOs of successful corporations, responsibility is about understanding the interdependency between business and society and leveraging those relationships so that both parties may sustain themselves and prosper in today's competitive environments. Just as business and society co-exist beyond your business school walls, they must co-exist within your business school education.” –Net Impact
SIC launched a significant curriculum change effort last year and needs a strong team to capitalize on this momentum. We are planning to launch a Business and Environment career fair. These two managers will be responsible for helping recruit organizations, logistics, pretty much soup-to-nuts. For this position you will be operating in a white space. You must be comfortable creating something from scratch, so I highly encourage first years with a passion for the environment who have an entrepreneurial spirit to join me. This event will be as small or as grand as the first year who joins wants it to be. So those who can think big are preferred!
