What you need:

Cap, Gown, Hood, Tassel

What we offer:

$33

Cap, Gown, Hood, Tassel

$16.50

Cap, Gown, Tassel (Must purchase hood from bookstore)

How you reserve and pick up your graduation apparel:

We will have a desk set up in the Fox Center from 11am – 2pm on during last week of Term 3 and beginning of Term 4 where you can order from us. We have limited inventory, so if you would like to make sure you can get your graduation apparel from the Social Impact Club, please e-mail Alison Ingvoldstad at alison.ingvoldstad@fuqua.duke.edu or Vishal Patel at vishal.patel@fuqua.duke.edu with your height and whether or not you want a hood, and your cap size if you know it (if you don?t, we have caps that fit all sizes). Why do we do this all by hand? We want to make sure that if you rent a cap and gown from us, we actually have one to give you. Otherwise you will have to order through the bookstore before March 19th. For more information on ordering through the bookstore please visit http://www.duke.edu/web/graduation/grad_apparel.html.

The last week of Term 4 classes, we will have a desk set up in the Fox Center from 11am – 2pm where you will pick up what you have ordered. When you pick up what you have ordered, you can pay using cash or check.

How do you return what you have rented?

Graduation weekend, we will have bins labeled in the Fox Center where you can return what you have rented and where your classmates can donate what they have purchased from the bookstore.

Why do we rent it to you, and not sell it to you?

We ask you to return the cap, gown, and hood so, we can rent it out next year and continue to contribute to the CASE Summer Internship Fund. It is also a good way to promote good environmental practices. After all, why would you want to clutter up your closet!?

What is the CASE Summer Internship Fund?

The CASE Summer Internship Program enables first year Fuqua Daytime MBA students to participate in summer internships with nonprofit and governmental agencies to learn about social sector management without making a significant financial sacrifice by supplementing the often below-market salaries offered by nonprofit and government agencies.
