One of the biggest challenges of the Social Impact Club is communicating the importance of the club not only to club members, but also the broader Fuqua community and beyond. The idea of using business skills to create a better place may not be everyone’s primary reason for attending business school. It is the job of the marketing leaders in the club to communicate all the ways that students can get involved and do so in a way that is clear, consistent and effective.

NET Impact and CASE

Net Impact and CASE are two organizations that assist SIC with a number of activities and support. It is important to note how these organization interact with SIC and to make sure it is consistently positioned to students so there is no confusion.
Net Impact is a national student organization which SIC is a member of – it officially recognized as “A Net Impact Chapter.” CASE is the faculty run organization at Fuqua which focuses on the advancement of social entrepreneurship. CASE provides significant support to the student run group, SIC.
In general, when referring to the Social Impact Club (SIC), we try to indicate that it is “A Chapter of Net Impact” and “Proudly Supported By CASE” using logos wherever possible.

SIC Digest
The SIC Digest is a weekly communication to all SIC members which highlights the week’s upcoming and future events planned as well as new internship/job opportunities that may be of interest. The digest usually has several items to announce and is a great way to plan out your calendar and find out what opportunities are available.
Announcements can be added to the SIC digest by submitting your content exactly how you would like it distributed to Seth Groener .
